Kemper en van Twist has installed 2 x 800 kVA emergency dieselgeneratorsets.
The ventilation (air-inlet and outlet) and exhaust systems are constructed to reduce noise nuisance to the hospital. The diesel-generatorsets are running parallel together with the mains and are able to supply the complete hospital. The Custom Build control panels are made by Kemper en van Twist and are monitoring and controlling the diesel-generatorsets. The control panels are including four mains failure switch boards, each supplied through its own transformer, for which transformer 1 has the highest priority and transformer 4 the lowest priority to supply the hospital.
The control system is engineered in every situation the highest preference has priority to switch from mains to emergency power.
