The history of KEMPER EN VAN TWIST DIESEL goes back to the year 1837.
Founder Willem van Twist started with a livery-stable, and later extended this by adding a removal and transport business.
At the beginning of 1900, Kemper En Van Twist then added the automotive section to their business. In early 1930 they then imported diesel engines for powering various applications.
In 1936, Kemper En Van Twist was appointed as first the distributor of Perkins Engines in the world. KVT then centralised all their industrial activities in 1948, to become the company it is today, providing Perkins Engines, Customer Excellence and Product Support through out the Netherlands.
